R9 won't even pull down properly against the load. The source follower is active on one side, passive on the other and R9 has to pull down through a 100 uF cap? Good luck.

Yeah. I should have read further in the docs. I'll correct my answer. (It is currently wrong. But I'll fix that.) And thanks. +1

Was it always like that (terrible and quiet?) Or is this a newly acquired behavior because something has been damaged?
View ArticleComment by periblepsis on Inverting Op amp do i need a pull down resistor
Well, C1 would seem to be a problem. One end is at a fairly high impedance. Not so good. You may want to talk a little more about what you are trying to achieve, I suppose. It's possible you don't need...

The frequency you are considering is right at the domain rates for simple spontaneous photon absorption and subsequent re-emission. Finding a material able to rapidly rotate its magnetic moments so as...

Read the help. The part of it that starts out saying, "Unused inputs and outputs are to be connected to terminal 8." Then read forward from there for the rest of the paragraph. Here's what I believe is...

The unknown units are Siemens also known as \$\mho\$. If you divide it into 1 you will get Ohms.Of course when you relate the voltage across the capacitor to the current in the resistor (or capacitor,...

Thanks, Tim. +1. Before I commented, I checked my view by reading this from Feynman. I doubled back through again and although I can imagine tiny atomic current density (or a portion assigned to...

Datasheet on the sensor, please. I see a resistor there. But you say "voltage." I suppose the divider network might answer my question. But I'd very much rather just see the datasheet for myself. Also,...

@anawss I don't see why not. The worst I can do is confuse you still more, I suppose. ;)

How will the two square wave outputs be applied? What are the worst case loads you expect to drive with them? How much current must they deal with when LO or when HI?
View ArticleComment by periblepsis on Can I use an RF transistor at a lower frequency?
@FranciscoMaggi I suspect the hint was about driving the base without a resistor arranged to rapidly dissipate out oscillations since it is very easy for RF transistors to ring when given half a...

@Randy98 That site provides two schematics to examine. Your voltage is out of range, so you will need the one with a separate power supply for the display unit. What is it about that separate power...

Yeah. First thing catching my attention was NRST, right away since that kind of thing was exactly what I expected. Them I chose to look down at the answers. Saw you caught it.. So I'm done looking. +1

@EugeneSh. That's one of my bookmarked pages -- particularly, in fact, because of the injector. I had liked the idea and wanted to come back someday to dig into it more deeply. Nice catch for the OP.
View ArticleComment by periblepsis on Confusion about finding poles by inspection
This is my choice for the answers so far. The indicated questions by the OP show very little understanding. So you had a bit of a slog and despite that did a great job, I think. So I'm +1.
