Comment by periblepsis on Since you can't get DC across an inductor, what am I looking at to build inductor-transmitted DC at the destination?

I am just not sure if I'm reading well. Lots of words but they miss addressing some questions that come to mind. First, I think I've gathered this is to be a non-contact transfer of power -- no galvanic connections allowed. Is that right? So this seems to me to be more like those toothbrush chargers. But I'm pretty certain I did not work out your application space. So I may be completely off-base. One nice thing is the 3.3 V and 20 mA. That's more likely doable than not.
