Here's my approach to simplifying the schematic:
From step A to step B it's just assigning a ground reference and erasing one unnecessary wire. Then to step C I just moved the left part over to the right part and aligned up the connection there. Then to step D it's just a slight re-drawing.
At this point, it isn't difficult to see which resistors are in parallel.
The upshot? Don't let wiring get in your way of seeing.
