@BenMüller Another question. A signal generator usually has a 50 ohm output impedance (some have settings, though, that can change it to things like CMOS or TTL, for example.) So, because it expects 50 ohm termination the generator outputs a voltage that is twice the setting value. Did you measure the unloaded signal generator output using a high impedance scope setting (not the 50 ohm setting)? (I'm talking here about reality, not simulation.) Details matter.
