@AudreyKpodar Once you set the voltage source to 0 V and the current source to 0 A, all you have is a pair of 2 Ohm resistors in parallel with each other but going "nowhere" (open ended because the current source is 0 A.) So they don't contribute and can also be eliminated. That just leaves the only resistor standing, which is the 4 Ohm resistor.
